Thanksgiving - Brian's Family

Brian took the day before Thanksgiving off from work, so we left for Indiana around noon that day.  We celebrated with his family on Thursday, shopped and went out to eat on Friday, and left on Saturday morning to come home.  It was a great time spent with family!!

Brian's dad measures Aaron to see if he's grown any taller than his 6'6 measurement in 1993.  And what do you know?  He has!  With shoes on, that is.

Hailey's first time getting a mark on the measurement wall.

Clara's, too!

It's fun to see how the kids have grown over the years.

Our annual Thanksgiving picture.

Grandpa and Grandma with all of their grandkids.

Cousins!

The adults.

The kids were in charge of making place cards...

...and signs.

Stephen was a good sport sitting at the table with the girls.

Uncle Garry, Aunt Wanda, and Joel stopped by later that evening for a quick visit.

Boys will be boys!

The next day, Brian's cousin, Rachel and family came over.  Here are all the second cousins (minus Rachel's brother, Scott's two boys).

We took this picture 3 years ago and made sure the kids all sat in the same spot for this year's picture.  It's fun to see the differences!

On Friday evening, we adults went to a restaurant in Ft. Wayne called Casa...Italian food.  We left the kids with Heidi's sister to watch "The Polar Express" and drink hot chocolate.  They didn't miss us one bit!  It was a fun evening (with lots of laughter!).
