We went to church on Christmas Eve and then had my family over to our house afterwards for dinner. Christmas morning came early as Hailey first woke up at 4:30 a.m., she was so excited. We told her she had to go back to sleep for a little bit. She made it to 6:15, although I'm not sure how much sleep she actually got during that time frame. :-) That sure brings back memories of my childhood and the excited anticipation of seeing what Santa had left under the tree. Having been woken up from a deep sleep, I think it took Clara a moment to process Hailey running into her room shouting, "Santa's been here, Clara! Santa's been here! Come on!" They both were very excited with what he left them! Those wide-eyed looks, mouth open gasps of surprise are priceless!
