On Friday night, November 20th, we had a snow storm move into the area. By Saturday afternoon, we had at least 13 inches! So of course I got out my Carpenters CD and played "The First Snowfall of the Winter" as I always do with the first snowflakes of each season. This was certainly a great first snowfall of the year! The girls couldn't wait to go out and play in it! It was great packing snow and they had fun helping our neighbor kids build a snowman. They also spent quite a bit of time playing in the backyard, sliding down the deck steps. The temperature was right around 32 degrees, so the perfect weather to play in the snow!
Because it had been pretty warm prior to the storm, most of the plants were still in bloom. The weight of the snow just bowed them right over.
Just beautiful!
Clara's turn to slide down the porch steps with a little tip over at the end. :-)
Hailey's turn!
Coming inside to warm up a little!
