Fair!

This past week was our county fair.  We went three days out of the five and had a great time each day!  Rides, 4-H projects, demonstrations, animals, shows, vendor giveaways, lemonade shake-ups, elephant ears, fried Wisconsin mozzarella sticks, fudge, etc.  So much fun!  Can't wait for next year!

Sizing up to farm animals with my friend, Stefanie's son, Ben.

Going to jail at the Sheriff's exhibit.

Petting a chicken.

Picture with Forest, the goat.

Hailey was loving getting to handle Forest.  My girls could totally be farm girls! :-)

Riding some rides.

Natalie, Clara, Emily, and Hailey walking in to the fair together.

Clara was checking out the honey bees in the box.  I had to teach her how to use the magnifying glass, though. :-)

Checking out all the poultry entrants.

Petting a bunny.

I loved how this cow was resting its head on the other one.

Reading some nature facts in the Forest Preserves exhibit.

Adam, Laura, Clara, and Hailey as farmers.

Best friends

More rides and Clara finally got her ferris wheel ride this year!

I thought this was a cute photo op of a boy with his goat.
