Garden Progress

Our fruit and vegetable plants are starting to get bigger!  We've only planted peas and carrots so far, but we'll get the majority of the rest of the vegetables into the garden in a couple weeks.  All the fruits we have planted are perennials and come back every year.

 

Very excited that the blueberry bush is sprouting new leaves!

 

The raspberries are doing great!

 

This rhubarb plant has taken off.  I should be able to possibly harvest a stalk or two in the next week.

 

Now that the chance of frost has decreased considerably, we removed the straw off the top of the strawberries.  There are a couple plants poking through already at the far end.

 

Garden peas and sugar snap pea starts!
