Hailey also got to play outside a little bit before going to Laura's. She built a small snowman and made a snow angel with some of the snow that fell on our deck. She and Brian also filled up a bird feeder with seed for our feathery friends. She loves to help him do this!
We met my parents, sisters, and their husbands and children for dinner tonight at a local restaurant. The weather forecast had included a winter storm watch for today with the possibility of freezing rain and ice accumulations. We planned on staying in and not going anywhere, but then the weather didn't play out like they predicted. So, my mom called to see if we all wanted to go out to eat! The freezing rain did start to pick up a little while we were eating, but the roads were salted well enough and we didn't have any issues with traveling.
Brian worked on the sewing and cutting tables this weekend, but they are going to take another weekend to finish. He ran into a few issues, but that will happen when you're doing everything from scratch.
