Little Sprouts - Forest Preserve Event

Clara and I attended another forest preserve event (at Bonner Heritage Farm) for kids ages 2-4 on Wednesday called Little Sprouts.  It was a chilly, windy day, but sunny!  They were to learn about harvesting the rest of the crops and preparing the garden for winter.

The program coordinator read a story about pumpkins to the kids.

They each "harvested" their own little pumpkin.

They also got to harvest some beans and grape tomatoes.

They then got to decorate their little pumpkin.
