Fall Color

We've had the perfect conditions for vibrant Fall colors this year...warm days and cold nights.  We also haven't had any really windy days (up until recently) to help the trees drop their leaves, so it has been beautiful to see them in all their glory!

This is the big Burr Oak tree we share with our neighbor.  I love its orange-brown color!  I'm glad they never cut this tree down when they were building our houses.  It's provided us with shade in the hot summer sun, leaves to rake and use as garden compost in the fall, places to hang bird feeders and watch all kinds of birds, etc.

The beautiful yellow color of the Elm tree in our front yard.

Bright red Maples line one part of a nearby road.
