Peppers & Watermelon

This past Thursday, I harvested and preserved three quart bags of bell peppers.  Their colors are so pretty!  I also pulled off one of our Sugar Baby watermelons to see if it was ripe, despite it being less than half the size it normally should have grown to.  I'm not sure why they all didn't grow any bigger than this, but we'll try again next year.

Some of my greens started to turn red. I was waiting for them to get a bit bigger than they were, but that's all the bigger they wanted to get!

All ready for the freezer.

For comparison purposes, all of the watermelons are only the size of a tomato.

When cut open, it was definitely ripe...actually just a little too ripe, but it was still sweet and tasted good.
