Aunt Lana feeds the pigs some peaches.
They'll be heading off to the butcher in a couple weeks.
Picking and eating some red raspberries.
Their Concord grape vines which produced so many grapes this year, they were able to make 3 gallons of fresh grape juice!
Aunt Lana gave us a glass of juice to try. It had absolutely no sugar added and still tasted sweet! It was very concentrated, though, so I'm sure it wouldn't be as sweet when watered down.
Clara loved it...grape juice mustache and all!
The chickens came close looking to see if you had any food for them. This kind of scared Hailey a little...watching her trying to prevent them from coming near was hilarious...until Aunt Lana told her she could just tell them to "shew".
Getting a chance to pet one of the chickens.
Checking the roosting boxes for any eggs.
Found one! Hailey did not want to put it down!
A beautiful smooth fresh brown egg!
Hailey called this the "golden" chicken and thought that this was the one who laid the egg.
Crossing over a stream via old telephone poles.
Clara was not the least bit afraid of crossing.
