A snow storm pushed through the area on Saturday and we ended up with about 4 inches of snow. The first accumulating snowfall of the season! Hailey was really excited and wanted to know when we could go sledding! :-) It was great packing snow and we saw several people out sledding in their backyards (where they have yards with a hill). There were also several people sliding down an empty retention pond hill near the front of the neighborhood. We'll have to take Hailey over there one of these days, too! While Brian & I did some more indoor decorating, she went out to play in our backyard. She started wiping the snow off her playset and then decided to clean off the slide by just sliding down! She had so much fun. It was perfect weather, too. Just above freezing and little wind. I remember those days as a child being some of the best days ever! Building snowmen and snow forts; having snow ball fights; making snow angels, etc.
In the evening, we went to a family Christmas party at my Uncle John & Aunt Pam's. It's been a while since my dad's side of the family has gotten together, so we were very excited to see everyone! We actually had 4 generations there!

In this picture are some of my cousins & second cousins as well as Hailey's cousin and second cousin. L to R: Kate, Hailey, John, Ryan, Kevin, Audrey, Patrick, Melanie, Laura, Julia, and Mark.
My grandmother's sister, Pat is in the middle of her two daughters, Kathy & Peggy. The kids are waiting for the last White Elephant gift to be opened to see if they want to exchange theirs for that one.
The family photographer and my dad's cousin, Sharon, looks at the fish with her nephew, Patrick. Patrick's White Elephant gift was a headband with a light on it.
