It actually snowed on Saturday. In the middle of May. So, I think you can imagine how cold the girls' soccer games were this weekend! It had also rained an inch and a half on Friday night, so the fields were soaked! Hailey's game was an important one on Saturday, because they were playing the only team they lost to once during the Fall season. Her team is undefeated this season so far. Well, by the third quarter of the game, they were down 3-0. The girls gave it their all in the fourth quarter and ended up scoring 4 goals to win it! It was awesome! It also happened to be what they called "Silent Saturday". Neither the coaches could coach or the parents could yell from the sidelines. The park district wanted to see how much the girls had learned so far. Yes, that was hard! Clara once again scored two goals in her soccer practice. After her second goal, she was relegated to the goalie box. :-)
Hailey started out as forward for the first quarter.
A little bit of the first quarter.
Soccer pictures were in, so they got passed out after the game.
Her team, minus a couple players who couldn't be there for picture day.
Lining up for a couple relay races. Clara is last in line with the team on the left.
Rounding the cone fast!
Not sure what she was looking for in the grass with the boys.
