Feed My Starving Children - 4-H Service Project

Hailey and I (along with two others from our 4-H group) volunteered at Feed My Starving Children on Saturday morning as a 4-H service project.  If you have an FMSC location near you, I'd highly recommend volunteering your time there.  The difference this food makes to starving and malnourished children is remarkable.  It's a humbling experience.

Laura, Kendra, and Hailey wait for the orientation and instructions to begin.

Scooping out vitamins, vegetables, soy, and rice.

Pouring it into the funnel and into a plastic bag that is sealed and then packed in a box.

Lots of volunteers helping pack the food, pick up full boxes, label boxes, and replenish ingredients.

An example of how the food we packed makes a difference in just a few short months for these children.

This is what our session of volunteers packed for the day.

All finished with our session!

Another child's testimony.
