We celebrated our twin nieces' one year birthday on Saturday. We can't believe they are a year old now! Due to the large number of people attending, the party was at my parents' house. The girls got lots of fun gifts and they both loved their smash cakes. Natalie was very "prim and proper" with her cake, but Emily tried to pick the whole thing up. My dad had laid some plastic down under their high chairs to catch any falling cake, but when all was finished, the plastic was untouched and a piece of frosting was stuck to a picture hanging on the wall behind the high chairs. :-)
On Sunday, my brother-in-law, David, was baptized and he and my sister joined our church. Baptism is a requirement before joining our church, although David had been wanting to be baptized for some time but didn't know at what church. So, it was a great day and great weekend for our family!!
