When we arrived on Friday night, Brian's aunt & uncle, Garry & Wanda were there along with several of his sister-in-law, Heidi's family members. They had a Euchere tournament going. Hailey had noticed that Grandma had set up their Christmas tree upstairs instead of downstairs this year and made sure to ask Grandma why she did that. It's amazing how much kids remember! Brian's dad is having knee surgery on Monday, so they will be spending the majority of this holiday season upstairs. On Saturday morning, Brian's brother's family came back over and we caught up on the latest with them. Brian's sister-in-law, Heidi, & I looked through the Thanksgiving weekend store ads in preparation for an afternoon shopping trip. We ate dinner around 12:30 and then the women headed out to do a little shopping while the rest of the crew stayed back to relax and play the Wii. Emma & Hailey wanted to go shopping with us really badly, but they are just still too young for that. Just a couple more years! On Sunday morning, we said our goodbyes to Brian's brother's family before they headed back to Pennsylvania. Then the rest of us went over to Bob Evans for brunch. Brian, Hailey & I then headed back home at 12:30 and didn't run into too much traffic...gratefully! We have a very busy week ahead!!

Intently watching Toy Story 3 while eating Thanksgiving dinner.
