4-H: Sewing Judging
Hailey had 4-H Sewing judging on Monday night. This was her second year in Sewing & Textiles 1 (they want you to stay in each level until you feel like you've mastered it) and she made a skirt. The judges thought she did a great job but needed to improve on her hem. It was her first time doing a hem, so the feedback they provided was very helpful! She also participated in Fashion Revue. This is where you model the clothing you made, coming up with appropriate articles and accessories to compliment the skirt. She ended up earning a blue and reserve champion in both areas. She was very excited!
