4th of July Festivities

It was a full day of fun festivities for the 4th of July!  We started out with our town's parade in the morning.  Hailey and her cousin, Laura, were riding on the 4-H float in the parade.  My mom came along to watch and then joined us (along with my sister, Stacy) back at our house for a cookout.  Later in the evening, we set off some fireworks (that we purchased) in our driveway before heading back to town to watch the professional fireworks.

This parade always draws a large crowd!

These are the "legal" fireworks you can buy in Illinois.  Lots of smoke!
