Little House on the Prairie Quilt: Block 12

Our first block for "The Long Winter" is an Attic Windows pattern and represents the numerous blizzards the Ingalls family endured that winter.  When one blizzard finished, another followed a couple days later.  It snowed so much that Pa often had to dig his way from the house to the barn to take care of the livestock.  This also meant that the girls spent a lot of the winter indoors looking out the window at the falling snow.
