4-H: Bingo with Veterans

On Saturday, our 4-H club called out Bingo games at the Veteran's Hospital near the Great Lakes Naval Base.  The club does this annually as one of their community service activities.

Newly elected Congressman Brad Schneider (10th Congressional District IL-D) was there to help deliver Valentines cards that a local elementary kindergarten class had made for the veterans. He was telling us beforehand that his sister-in-law's sister is the illustrator for the Fancy Nancy books. The books were written about his niece.

Members of our club introduce themselves before Bingo begins.

Hailey prepares to pass out prize money to the winners.

Brian, Hailey, and Clara work together to pick and call out the numbers for a couple games.
