4-H: Punching Project

I had the Cloverbuds do a punching project at last night's meeting on a 29 ounce aluminum can.  I printed out the 4-H four leaf clover on paper so they had a guide to use for punching on one side of the can.  The other side I had them free-hand punch their name or initials.  We weren't able to get them all finished during the meeting, because it got really chilly outside, so they are going to finish them up at home.  They all really enjoyed getting to use a hammer and nail...especially the boys, who wanted to use the hammer to break the ice inside the can afterwards!
