They say you receive a visitor from heaven when a cardinal comes to your yard. It was very nice to receive a visit from my dad that morning. Notice the nuthatch in flight below the feeder.

Brian and I enjoyed the ambiance as well as a little of "A Christmas Story" on TV before heading up to bed.
