Bread and Butter Pickles and Garden Harvesting

We are getting towards the end of harvesting from the garden, so I've been busy preserving!  I canned some bread and butter pickles, froze some diced tomatoes and zucchini, and put together herb bunches for drying.

Lavender bunches for decorating our bathroom.

A basil bunch ready for drying.

A sage bunch ready for drying.

I took the two little zucchini and the large one and shredded them for freezing.  The other two I will use in an upcoming dinner recipe.

We finished digging up all the carrots and put them in two gallon bags for the refrigerator.

I used up the rest of our pickling cucumbers and some onions from the garden to make bread and butter pickles.

Ready to be canned and processed.

Excited to taste them in 4-6 weeks!
