We had a 4-H meeting on Monday night. My Cloverbuds co-leader, Tammy, showed the kids how to make butter. She also brought in some tobacco hornworms that she raises and feeds to her bearded dragons (a type of lizard). I've seen tomato hornworms, but never a tobacco hornworm, so it was neat to see! While Tammy was showing some of the kids how to make butter, I was working with a couple of them on making an Olaf snowman out of a bobby sock and rice. I didn't get any pictures of the butter making and the picture of the Olaf snowmen below is courtesy of my sister, Stacy. I was hard at work hot gluing!
Tobacco hornworms are blue instead of green like the tomato hornworms.
Getting a chance to hold one.
