- Me (trying to make sure I'm dressing her in warm enough pajamas): Have you been cold at night, hot, or just right?
Clara: Just wrong.
Me (after repeating the question and getting the same answer): Why are you just wrong?
Clara: Cause Hailey said it.

- On our way to church this morning, we were turning out of our neighborhood onto another street when Clara said (completely out of the blue), "Nice turn, Dad."

- On long car trips, we usually look for red barns (I know, I can't resist) and shout out "Red barn!" when we see one.  While also on our way to church this morning, all of a sudden Clara yells out "Red barn!"  She did see one, but the rest of us didn't know we were supposed to be looking for them! :-)
