Sprucing Up The Goat Barn

Hailey's 4-H meeting was at the fairgrounds last night.  Our group was in charge of sprucing up the flower beds in front of the goat barn.  We weeded them and planted some new flowers.  We also used green-painted bricks to spell out 4-H in the middle flower bed.  More mulch is still needed for one of the beds and they need to put up some goat wood cut-outs to finish the project.  We think it looks great so far!  The Cloverbuds also worked on pieces of the paper quilt they are planning to display at the fair.  I can't wait until fair time!  Some isolated thunderstorms were going through the area, and besides a few rain drops, we stayed dry!  The only thing to complain about was the huge temperature drop from the cold front moving in.  Hailey and I were shivering and wishing we had a jacket or blanket with us!

Getting instructions on where to plant everything.

Waiting for Miss Tammy to open a glitter stick for her.

Planting the flowers.

A beautiful and bright rainbow also came from the storms passing through.

The middle flower bed is all finished!
