Making Tie Blankets

Several Girl Scout troops in our area helped to make no sew fleece blankets this morning that will be donated to a local homeless shelter.  Hailey was able to earn her "Blanket Drive" patch for participating.  It always feels good to do things for others!

  

Performing a little song together with all the troops present.  There were just Daisy and Brownie troops during this hour slot.

 

Daisy moms cut the strips and the girls tied them together in two knots.

 

Everyone hard at work!  We could have definitely done more than two blankets per troop.  It didn't take very long at all!
