Our church service was wonderful this morning! Full choir, brass quartet, and timpani drums. The alter highlighted the Bible which was surrounded by lighted white candles, lilies, and other colorful flowers. The pews were full of people! It made for a large and joyous celebration!
Prior to church, the girls hunted for their Easter baskets and eggs that the Easter bunny had hidden. Clara, having done an egg hunt with her grandparents the previous day, wasn't as much interested in finding the eggs as she was seeing (and eating!) what was in them! We quickly ate some breakfast, got dressed, said a quick goodbye to Brian's parents, and then headed out for church. There was barely any time for pictures, and because the girls got up so early, they were in no mood for them!
We went straight to my parents' house after church to have a delicious lunch with my side of the family. The Easter bunny also left some eggs and baskets for the girls and their cousins to find. We love family-filled weekends!!

Hailey found hers!
Um, Clara, Hailey's finding all the eggs...you can open them later! :-)
Clara, look right here!
Clara, wait! Mommy wants to take a picture!

There's definitely an easier way to get this egg, but what is the fun in that?
All done!
