New Water Softener

Thanks to a good deal from a former neighbor of my family's in Pennsylvania (thanks Tom and Pam!), we now have a new carbon-resin water softener (installed yesterday).  We are very much looking forward to no more hard water, calcium/lime/chlorine buildups in the sinks, pipes, shower doors, etc!
