Hailey's latest thing is to ask why. Last night she was upstairs in her bedroom window asking our poor neighbor (who was out watering her plants) an endless amount of why questions. It started, "Hi, Miss Heather". "Hi Hailey." "What are you doing?" "I'm watering my flowers." "Why?" "They are thirsty." "Why?" "Because plants need water." "Why?" At this point, I saved Heather from having to drill down to why plants need water. :-) Thankfully she doesn't quiz everyone all the time!!
Another thing she has been doing is asking the question, "Do you know why...?" She says to Brian & me last night, "Do you know why cats' tails are really long? Cause that's what helps them meow." It's so fun to hear how she thinks the world works!
