Hailey chose to play the flute in Beginning Band this year and she is really enjoying it! The band had their first concert on Thursday night and despite just learning to play their instruments and then playing with everyone together, we thought they sounded great! We are looking forward to future concerts! The band directors said that this is the first year in the history of the school that there has been this much interest in beginning band. So exciting!
I had my zoom lens with me so I could get closer pictures of Hailey, but that meant I couldn't get the whole band in one! So, this is a panoramic photomerge of several pictures pieced together.
Getting her music ready.
The theme was Mickey Mouse, so this is the Mickey Mouse March.
