Bathroom Remodel

Week 4 brought tile work!  We were excited to see how everything turned out!  Our tile contractor (also a neighbor) was here from Monday to Friday working hard.  We think he did a great job!

RedGuard was applied first.  It provides an extra moisture barrier to prevent any water from getting to the drywall or wood.  Even though this was an optional step, we chose to do it.  When we're spending a good amount of money now, we certainly don't want to spend even more later if there ever was a leak!

While the RedGuard was drying, he worked on the floor tile.

The next morning he started on the shower walls.

Another two days and it was all finished! The box on the soap shelf is a different light we need to install.

The shelving niche.

The floor all cleaned up and ready.
