Fence Repair
Re-painting/re-staining our fence has been on our to-do list for a couple years and we finally decided to tackle it this year. It turns out that we should have gotten to it a couple years ago. Some of the boards are starting to rot away and definitely need to be replaced. So we called a few fence building companies and found out we were looking at around $3,000 to repair the fence. The construction of it isn't all that complicated, especially since the main posts (that are cemented into the ground) are in good shape. So, Brian priced everything out and found that he could repair it for about $1,500. He put together a small section this weekend and it looks great! The one great thing about repairing it himself is that he can pre-stain all the boards before assembling them. I'll post more pictures once everything is finished, but here's what the one section looks like so far.
