Insulating

This has been an unusually cold winter for us.  I don't mind the snow, but temperatures (with wind chill factors) of 50 below 0 are not my favorite.  Being grateful to have heat in our home during this cold is an understatement.  Despite the heat, the house still feels cold.  We noticed that Hailey's floor in her room (the part which is positioned halfway over the garage) was especially cold.  Brian got up in the garage attic and noticed there was no insulation in there.  There's a "thin" layer of insulation surrounding her room (probably the minimum required), but we felt that putting some insulation in the attic might help a little, too.  So, Brian got some rolls from the store this past weekend and put them up there.  Our plan is to also add more to the house attic in hopes that it keeps things more evenly heated/air conditioned in the whole house and helps lower our heating/electric bills!
